It has been a minute since we last chatted about skincare. I am still learning so much about clean beauty, but I have definitely started playing favorites, ie: Tata Harper and RMS Beauty being on my top shelf. In the last couple months I have added a few new tools and products to my routine.
This post has been in the making for over a year now and I am so excited to share my morning and night skincare routine. I made the switch to follow the 80/20 rule last March and have never looked back.

A few months back I attended a luncheon with Tata Harper, the creator of the all natural beauty line. I was fortunate enough to sit next to her during the lunch and learned a great deal about natural beauty, wellness and the importance of skincare. I should start by saying her skin was glowing, but more importantly she was the most kind and generous lady. I was so happy to have met the women who created such wonderful products.
Lately, I have received so many questions about what I have been doing differently with my hair. For the last few months I have been using the Kérastase Aura Botanica line and it has changed my hair in the best way possible.
My top shelf (well, actually my top drawer because our bathroom is lacking a medicine cabinet) had been upgraded by a few products I have been obsessing over. Today, I am sharing my top skincare products that I am always reaching for on the daily.
We are just fifteen days away from Christmas eve and my little holiday break could not come at a more oportune time. I am ready to unplug and recharge to start the new year feeling inspired. We will be traveling to Scottsdale to celebrate the holidays with my family and I am feeling extra giddy because my grandparents are coming this year. We have planned a weekend full of family traditions, like going to Zoo Lights and celebrating my mom and Patrick’s birthdays the day after Christmas. They happen to be one day apart just days before Christmas.
Since I have a few extra gifts to find this year, I decided on gifting really special presents this year. When it comes to finding the “perfect” gift for someone I think something personal makes it extra special . I have always been a huge fan of the brand, Cuyana (see here and here) and their mission for fewer, better things. This year I am taking on their mantra when it comes to gifting my loved ones.
Do you ever wish you could figure out how to get a perfect blowout at home?
Whenever I get my hair cut, I always try and make my blowout last for as many days after since I can never seem to get it perfect after the first wash. My hair is naturally curly (and not the pretty curls that you would lust over). Since I was young I have been blowing out my locks and then using all the hot tools to smooth out that frizz. What I didn’t realize is that I just needed the right brushes to use to get that lasting blowout like at the salon.
