Goodnight Macaroon Stripe Off the Shoulder Top

I am about 2 and a half months post my Whole 30 challenge and my life in the kitchen looks very different.  I have now been dairy and gluten free, minus a few slip ups, since before the challenge.  For me, it was a complete lifestyle change I needed to make. I was diagnosed with a dairy allergy almost 10 years ago and just tried to ignore it until now. I would order burrata salads every time I saw it on a menu or grab a cheese plate with girlfriends. I thought cutting all dairy out of my life was going to be the hardest thing I have ever done (dramatic much?). Honestly, it was easy because I immediately felt better. When I tell people their immediate response is, “What about pizza? I could never live without cheese.”

I laugh a little because the taste is starting to seem like a distant memory.  That being said, I am not going to lie, I still miss bread everyday. I miss eating sandwiches, pasta, and the thing I miss most- having a cold beer by the pool (hehe).  Mackenzie and I ended up at Trinity Groves a few weeks ago and a piece of red velvet cake was calling my name. It took all my will power to just say, no. It seems so funny now, but it was a win in my book.  J.McLaughlin Saddle Bag and Stripe Top J.Brand Jeans and Joie White Sandals Celine Sunglasses and Stripe Off the Shoulder Top Stripe Top and J.McLaughlin Tan Bag

This off-the-shoulder top is one of my new favorites. I mean, you can never have too many stripe tops and I just love the little ties on the side. I wore it with jeans out to lunch the other day, but now that the temps are in the 100s, I will be wearing this top with these white shorts.
