Having a problem with wintery dry skin? Well, I am and it is an awful feeling, even my hair is feeling dry. Lately, I have been reading about this Rodin Oil on a bunch of blogs and magazines and decided to look more into it.  I am usually not one to spend alot on beauty products but lately I have been getting the urge to get on a daily regimine and break this dry skin habit (no matter the cost).  The best part of the Rodin olio lusso is there is just one step in the process, which makes this even more appealing. I cannot wait to try the face and hair oils to start.

“There is beauty in simplicity.” – principle from founder, Linda Rodin.

I think little details like a monogram can add charm and personality to ordinary items.  During the holiday I was able to finally stop into West Elm (I wish we had one in Kansas City!) and I about went to heaven.  I wanted everything in the store. My mom had to tell me I did not need a speaker in the shape of a pig, champagne flutes or the 5 recipe books (that would be too heavy for my suitcase).  Anyways… the store had its own Monogram Shop, which I absolutely loved! They have everything from pillows to cutting boards to soap dishes. There were also a ton of easy gift ideas that would be good for showers, weddings, or anniversaries.  Since I do not have any of those coming up, I think I will treat myself to this cute iPad case

Sorry for all my ramblings today…

With this chilly weather I have been dying for a pair of cute leather gloves.  I have the hardest time finding ones that fit my small fingers but I think these Diane Von Furstenberg Camel Gloves would do the trick.  I bet they are soft like butter and would keep me very warm tonight. You can get them here

Daily Detail

Since its a new year I decided it was time to start a daily series about things I love, want, or need. The first Daily Detail is the book, 101 Ways to Say Thank You: Notes of Gratitude for All Occasions. After the holiday season I always procrastinate writing thank you notes (my mother always taught me to send a hand written thank you note). I think this book is just the trick to get inspired.
