Home Tour- Made By Girl

How beautiful is this home?? It is Jen’s home, the author of Made By Girl. The house is to. die. for. And the art is what lead me to her home tour when I realized she is an artist and graphic designer with a company called Coco & Hearts.  I really love the dot paiting in the living room..maybe some day!

Loving Lucite- Tilly Maison

The other day I was on Etsy and came across these adorable colorful lucite trays by Tilly Maison.  I decided to do some research and found her blog: Tilly Maison where she shares new projects and inspiration.  I am ordering my black and white chevron large tray today! I can’t wait to get it.

Weekend Project: Bedroom Bench

This weekend I was searching for the perfect fabric to cover the bench at the end of my bed.  I am still struggling to find “the one”!  Here is where I am pulling inspiration from but I haven’t quite found exactly what I am looking for.  Dwell Studios is about the closest I have found to the perfect fabric. Any suggestions on great fabric stores in Kansas City?

Rock Chalk

Since this weekend is the Big Twelve Tournament in Kansas City, I thought it was appropriate to show some school pride.  Sav-Art is a local artist from Kansas City, who I just adore. I think he may love Lawrence as much as I do. The Wheel, Allen Fieldhouse, and the Delta Gamma house just bring me back to a great place!

Wake Up And Smell the Daisies

Happy Day back to work! I am just in love with my new Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume I got for Christmas.  Maybe because of how cute the bottle is or the sweet smell.  Either way I want to collect all four! Possible Valentine’s Day idea anyone??

Illustrator Extraordinaire

Jenny Bowers, Illustrator Extraordinaire! I love her use of bright colors that allow her illustrations to just pop off the page. And especially the elegant and girly subject matter. She is the one behind the new Kate Spade stationary and 2011 planner.  These illustrations would look great in my new office!

A Dining Room to Die For

I cannot wait for my High and Dry Home Goods custom table to be delivered this weekend! Jamie, the owner, took an old vintage front door and turned it into a beautiful dining table. (she is amazing!) Pictures to come…

Feeling Dizzy

I love this chevron pattern and especially Rubie Green.  Her fabrics are so dainty yet sophisticated. The chevron pattern gives such a modern touch to my traditional style. A possible option for accent pillows on our new white couch or maybe an upholstered bench in the entry way.

Closet Envy

I have been having issues trying to figure out how to organize all of my clothes, shoes and accessories in my new closet. I was soo spoiled in my last place with a walk- in. I am so envious of these beautiful closets, oh how I love organization…
