Antrhopologie Styles

Are you ready for a summer fiesta? I am in love with Anthropologie‘s styling for this summer.  But what really caught my eye were these bad boys here.  I love fun glasses and these ‘Celebrate the Day’ tumblers are just what I need to brighten up the party.  Add a little Sangria and we are all set to have a summer fiesta.

In Need Of Jeans

I have been in need of a new pair of jeans. I was thinking a high wasted wide leg but then I came across Baldwin, a local Kansas City brand that is getting some major props from the fashion world.  These jeans fit like a glove, I especially love The Ten.  The designer was born and raised in Kansas and in 2003 started the Kansas City boutique, Standard Style.

Golf Style

I know the Masters are over but it is finally nice enough to play golf here.  I am still a beginner but I sure am loving it. (especially when I do well).  I am going today and needed some inspiration. I mean you have to look good to play good…right? My favorite are these sleeveless polos from Ralph Lauren.

Long Lasting Lips

This weekend one of my girlfriends introduced me to the greatest invention ever: Lip Stain.  I have never really been a lipstick kind of girl because it always rubs off on your drink or anything else.  Well, I found my new obsession; Revlon Just Bitten lip stain in Passion (Bright Pink). It’s such a perfect spring color and I love how it pops! The major plus is you can’t even tell you have anything on and it lasts all night!

Mini Fashion Icons

Mary- Kate and Ashley Olsen are not only 5 feet nothing twins, but recently have been getting some major props in the world of fashion for their line, The Row. These twins are completely hands on in the design process and have been proving they mean business. In this months Vogue article, Behind The Row: Meet Mary-Kate and Ashley, the girls talk about growing up in the spotlight and how fashion and design have always been a huge part of their lives (I mean they were wearing Chanel at the age of 12). From the lush cashmeres to the chocolate colored python these twins are not taking any shortcuts when it comes to fabric choices. The streamline, menswear look is their specialty and if you have a large chunk of change to spend, their t-shirts are heavenly.

Everyone who knows me knows that I love horizontal stripes.  Well today I came across what is now possibly my favorite online store, Chance.  Chance was created by Julia Leach who was the creative director for Kate Spade for 11 years and has branched out to create “artful classics”.  The focus of the brand is simply stated in the quote above, which I just adore.
