In case you missed it, we have been pretty busy over here in the last few months––we bought a house, completed renovations, and had a baby. ;) So, today I am so excited to share a peek into one of my favorite projects so far, our upstairs guest bathroom.

Towels: Weezie Hand Towels and Bath Towels | Wallpaper: Thibaut | Mirror: Serena and Lily | Fixtures: Kohler | Lampshades: Amy Berry Home

The house is still very much a work in progress, but I could not be happier with what we were able to do in such a short time before our little babe made his debut -we laugh about it now, but there is nothing quite like having a team of contractors at your house right up to the day you head to the hospital! When deciding what to take on in phase one of the project, we agreed this bathroom needed a major refresh. The previous owners loved the colors tan and brown (I wish I had a before picture because it was something special) and I knew we were going to spend lots of time in the bathtub with FPS, so it felt like the right place to start.

When designing the space, I wanted it to feel bright and fresh. So, after lots of inspiration searching and selections, we landed on this blue and white stripe wallpaper, white penny round tile, brass fixtures and of course, Weezie towels to complete the space.

I was actually introduced to Weezie a few years ago when I was on vacation visiting a girlfriend. She told me about these two friends who started a luxury towel company after being underwhelmed by the quality and design that was on the market and set out to create beautiful, high quality towels. I knew when we moved into our house, I had to have some of my own. So, you can imagine my excitement when my new friends at Weezie reached out to see if I wanted to try their fluffy towels last month––talk about perfect timing. The towels are not only beautiful (this monogram…I’m obsessed), but they are also super absorbent, made from 100% organic cotton and OEKO-TEX certified, meaning they are free of harmful chemicals often used int he textile industry. It is comforting to know that we are wrapping our little babe up in something safe.

Back to the darling monogram, we chose the light blue piping and thread color that ended up matching perfectly to the wallpaper. They have so many color and monogram options, which I think totally complete a room. Plus, who doesn’t love a good monogram?

Some of you mamas out there may relate, I have been living in this Weezie bathrobe. I wear it during our early morning and late nights feeds with our sweet little boy. My favorite thing is to wrap him up inside with me because it’s so soft and cozy. I have always had a hard time finding robes that fit because they are normally too bulky or the sleeves are too long. With the cropped sleeves, shortened hem and subtle white monogram, this robe, Weezie has really knows the way to my heart.

Such a wonderful space. Love the mirror. I honestly wouldn’t even know how to use that mirror in any space, so it’s nice to learn from a master. Thanks for sharing! I would love to see more decorating tips in the future.
