HYDRANGEA HEAVEN
When it came to packing for Nantucket, I pretty much stuck with a neutral palette. Think: lots of white, cream, navy, and gray. Since we were driving and knew I could pack more than my usual carry-on, I could have easily gone overboard. Instead, I thoughtfully planned each outfit and decided I would only bring items in my closet that I truly love. After my major Marie Kondo moment last month, it made packing a breeze.
White Midi Skirt (c/o) / Sleeveless sweater / Sandals / Bag / Silk Scarf (vintage-similar) / Sunglasses
This skirt from Tuckernuck was the first things in the suitcase. I figured it could be worn during the day with sandals and a tee or at night with a pair of heels and a bodysuit.
Recently, I have been having a moment with midi skirts (I styled another one here). I always thought I was too petite short to pull them off, but there is something so flattering about the mid-calf style. I think the older I get the less inclined I am to reach for a mini skirt and there is something chic about the midi length. I suggest wearing a fitted top or sweater, to keep the look young and fresh–we are still too young to be too covered up ;)
xox – a dash of details
SO pretty! Love the belt detail of that skirt!
