TV/ Something you may not know about me, and something I am a little embarrassed to admit, but I am a total TV junkie. It is my favorite way to unwind at night and my DVR is filled with too many shows to count.  While it may not be as great as reading a book, TV is really good right now. What I’m watching: Halt and Catch Fire from Season 1, Riverdale starts back up October 11th–tomorrow!(a total guilty pleasure), SEAL Team, Last Week Tonight, and of course, Scandal are in my top list.

SHOPPING / I recently was introduced to a new online retailer,Blue and Cream. Think of all of your favorite brands in one spot. A few to note would be SEA, Grlfrnd Denim, Misa, Zimmerman, ALC, and so many others. Currently in my cart are these sunglasses, these mules, and this dress for an upcoming trip to Palm Springs.

TRAVEL / We have officially been in Dallas for four weekends in a row. My parents laugh, because this is the longest stretch of time we have been home since moving here almost three years ago.  We really love to travel and figure we should take advantage of that married with no kids lifestyle.  This weekend we are headed to the ranch outside of Austin for a little R&R, then the next weekend we are heading to Notre Dame to watch my brother-in-law play football, and then a few weeks later celebrating Amy’s birthday in Palm Springs. We have a few trips in November and December for the holidays and I am looking forward to packing my bags again!

IT’S MILEY / Miley on Carpool Karaoke tonight is getting me through this day.

BACK ON TRACK/ After living in Nantucket for two months, sans gym, I am finally getting back on track. This week (yes, I am aware I am only on day 2, but you have to start somewhere, right?!) I am starting each morning with a run, a cup of warm lemon water, and vitamins. So far so good.  They say it only takes 28 days to create a habit, I can do it!

YOUR GO TO RECIPES / You may or may not know this about me, but I LOVE to cook and bake.  Do I do it regularly? No, but I would love to be one of those people who makes dinner every night. I go through phases where I will cook every meal at home for months and then I get burned out. Honestly, I just have the hardest time coming up with ideas or I run out of time to go to the store and end up in the Whole Foods salad bar line. What are your favorite go-to healthy recipes?

PUMKIN EVERYTHING / In honor of Fall and football season, I am making a batch of my famous chili this weekend. Thinking about switching up my jalapeño cornbread recipe for this one.

SMELLS / In an effort to use all natural products on my skin, hair and around the home, the one product I haven’t switched is my deodorant.This story may have just solved my problem. Do you have a natural deodorant you love and actually works?

    In response to the last item on the list: I use the Lavanila Sports Luxe (important that it’s not the other scents!) and swear by it now. I once read the Courtney Lavine (ballerina with ABT) uses it, and if it’s good enough for a ballerina dancing 10+ hours a day, it works for me!

    Excited to see more from your upcoming travels!! Also, I love that leather notebook (agenda?) in that photo! It would make such a thoughtful gift. Where did you get it?
