We are headed to Scottsdale tonight for a fun-filled weekend. It’s my best friend’s 30th birthday and another besties bridal shower on Sunday. You can follow our shenanigans here. The weather is going to be perfect, a high 77º, so you can bet we will be laying by the pool.
HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE WEEK:
PODCASTS: I have been listening to How I Built This non-stop since a few of you recommended on InstaStories last week. Some of my favorites so far are Kate and Andy Spade, Instagram, Whitney Wolfe, and Framebridge. My friend Jen recommended listening a few unexpected ones: Samuel Adams and 5 Hour Energy. These are on my list for next week.
WHAT WE ATE: Aside from my green smoothie in the morning, I cooked 3 dinners this week (baby steps people!). It was nothing special but Monday we had Salsa Chicken in the crock pot over cauliflower rice and veggies. Tuesday we had baked chicken with butternut squash and broccoli and Thursday we had zucchini noodles and turkey meatballs.
THIS WEEK’S WORKOUT: If you are interested, I broke down my daily workout schedule in this post. Minus a few sore muscles, I am feeling really good this week after completing week four of BBG. My foam roller has been a total life saver. Did you know there are actual health benefits to foam rolling? Read this article (goodbye, cellulite) and you will be putting that foam roller in your next Amazon order. I think I am going to test out dry brushing next week. Has anyone else tried this? I am so curious if it actually has health benefits or it’s just a hoax. Stay tuned…
