Whatever makes you feel the sun from the inside out, chase that.- gemma troy
Somehow I blinked and it’s already March. This year has been full of fun filled weeks and weekends. It’s flying by and while I am not wanting time to stop, this month I plan to be more intentional with my days. The last two months, I have noticed a shift in my mindset since I started focusing on being in the moment.
I am finding myself unplugging, feeling more creative and spending more time doing the things I love. So, hey March, I am ready for a little more sunshine, fresh blooms, new healthy recipes to try, and many good things to come.
Spending time outdoors. I am excited to start being able to go on my daily walks again. As the days get longer, I can take the pups for extra long walks while I listen to my favorite podcasts. Speaking of, do you have any recs? I have been loving Skimm from the Couch, Second Life, and of course, Goop.
Spring wardrobe refresh. Thanks to the Shopbop sale, I added a few new pieces to my Spring closet. Now, we just need it to warm up around here so I can pull out my midi dresses, this one might be my new favorite. A few other pieces making me excited for Spring: this dress, this headband, and this jumpsuit.
Travel plans. This month I am headed down to Austin for a mom/daughter weekend. It has been a minute since I have been, so if you have any restaurant recs please send them my way! We also have a trip to Scottsdale booked for the end of the month to celebrate my best friend’s engagement. The best part: dress shopping!
Fresh blooms. Is there anything better than spring flowers? Last week I popped into the flower market to grab some blooms for a little gals night (see my insta for a sneak peek). I really having fresh flowers all over the house to make it feel like Spring inside.
Cooking healthy meals at home. I know I keep saying this but I am slowly but surely making my way back into the kitchen. I have added a few go-to recipes to my arsenal and it is making life so easy during the week. There is nothing I love more than a quick 20 minute recipe with minimal clean up. I have really been trying to get back to healthy eating (ie: no more Friday pizza nights), but all in due time.
What do you have planned for March?
