“And all at once Summer collapsed into Fall.”- Oscar Wilde

Does anyone else feel like they blinked and all of a sudden we are into the last part of the year? The weather in Dallas was just about perfect this weekend and actually made me start looking at my Fall to-do list.  I haven’t fully checked anything off my list just yet, but I did make my first batch of crock pot turkey chili (yumm), enjoyed a candlelight yoga class and I started brainstorming ideas for our first annual pumpkin carving party. I swear before we know it, the holidays are going to be here. I am not sure about you, but I am not quite ready to let this year come to an end.

I soaked up every last second of the weekend.  Do you ever have those days where you pack in just about everything you want to do in just two short days?  I kicked off the weekend with a yoga class with one of my besties, a few margaritas at MiCocina and then lots of puppy snuggles. Saturday was spent sleeping in, running errands and taking Molly and Zoey for an extra long walk.  We decided to stay in and it was the best idea we had in a long time because Sunday was so productive.   Yesterday I spent the day cleaning and organizing while blasting my new favorite song and meal prepping for the week ahead. I really can’t think of a better weekend spent at home.

No Monday blues over here because my best friend arrives tonight!
