Stripes, Mules, Lace, and Saturdays. Today’s Style Details are all about those mid-season details.
I know I keep saying this but I cannot believe I only have two weeks left on Nantucket. I am going to miss the days when Mackenzie and I throw on our sweaters and head to Juice Bar. The weather at night here is in the 60s, which is perfect for a light sweater. I think I am in for a rude awakening when I head back to the warm weather in Dallas.
But, back to today’s Style Details because it’s a good one!
Like I said yesterday, J.Crew is having 25% off for the next 24 hours to stock up on all the mid-season arrivals. I always get so much inspiration and styling ideas from the Looks We Love. I love the idea of mixing this stripe top (that is in my cart from yesterday) and these pants. Another look I have been loving is to mix blues. Pair this sweater with these pants for a chic business casual look.
I have been keeping my eye out for a new clutch for Fall and I think this one is the winner. I love the handle and the red and pink stripe on one side, so you could ideally flip it, if you just wanted to wear a solid tan bag. I think it will be perfect with my mostly neutral wardrobe.
I have been on a major gold statement earring kick and Elizabeth and James is just getting it. These oversized Dalia Earrings would be the perfect accessory to dress up a casual sweater and jeans for date night.
Last week I posted about these marigold shoes and this week is all about the jumpsuit! Clearing this color is having a moment. While I normally wouldn’t reach for this color, this one shoulder jumpsuit totally jumped off the page. For under $100, it would be such a cute statement look in your closet for a dinner party or rehearsal dinner.
Speaking of accessories that can be worn before the temps drop to sweater weather, Tory Burch’s new styles are calling my name for Fall! This shoulder bag is on the top of my list and also, these cute new satchel bags are so fun!
M.Gemi just dropped some great new arrivals this week. These mules are perfect for the mild Fall and Winter in Dallas and I love the luggage color. Patrick surprised me with these last season and I think this pair is a great addition to my collection.
Never in a million years did I think I would be wearing a Hanes tee again. In college, our typical school ‘uniform’ was these Nike running shorts, a white Hanes tee, and sneakers. I would say over 50% of the girls in my classes were in some version of this outfit on a daily basis. Well, Hanes partnered with Nordstrom and a few other fun brands for a little Pop-In shop. I have to say this Saturdays NYC x Hanes tee is calling my name.
