Holiday Hostess Gifts

Holiday Hostess Gifts

I can’t believe we are just a little over two weeks out from Thanksgiving. With the holidays just around the corner, our calendar is filling up with holiday parties and get togethers. Our first Friendsgiving is this weekend! This year I am creating my first ever gift closet with a few items to be able to grab and go if a last minute party invites comes our way. I hate to walk in empty handed :)

December 1st. The most magical month of the year (or at least for me).  There is something in the air that gives me that giddy feeling.  We have started decorating the house and this weekend we are putting up the tree.  This is our first Christmas as newlyweds and I want to make sure it is extra special.

Since moving to Dallas we have met some great friends and with great friends means holiday parties! I never want to show up empty handed to a party, but I also hate breaking the bank on gifts friends will never use.  I have rounded up a few of my go-to gifts I keep on hand that make the perfect hostess gift.

A candle and a cute matchbox make for the perfect combo.  Tie it up with a cute bow and you are good to run out the door.  These candles are my absolute favorite because the aroma fills your entire room.  I also love these because they last forever.  Design Darling has some of the matchboxes to pair with the candle.

Everyone (at least my girlfriends) love a good bottle of champagne.  Tie a cute holiday tag on a bottle of Veuve Clicquot for the perfect last minute gift.

If you have a little more time to plan ahead, grab a couple copper mugs and the fixin’s for Moscow Mules. Tie on a cute bottle opener to the handle for a gift everyone will love.

Cookbooks always make for great gifts.  Wrap a festive dish towel around the book with a bow and call it a day!

Here are some other fun holiday hostess gifts!
