Weekend Uniform- Slow Down Weekend

Welcome back from the weekend!  Mine was filled with lots of relaxing, good food, and snuggling up on the couch watching movies and playing games.  After getting over being a little sick last week, we decided to take it easy this weekend.  The best part of the last couple days was the beautiful weather.  It could not have been nicer, and a little rain on Saturday was the best part (an absolute excuse for being lazy inside).

I always have loved the connection between design and fashion trends.  This series will be a collection of my favorite “must have” fashion pieces and my wish list of great art and curated design.  My love for shopping made me start thinking about this series.  I hope you enjoy!

The Trend: Neon

For You: Try these Kate Spade neon pink studs with a white tee, jeans and flats for a casual look

For the Long Work Days…

I have been crazy these last couple weeks at work and I have a few things that keep me sane.  Making lists, lists and more lists is the number one thing that keeps me going.  I love being able to cross things off and file away and it would be even better with these cute “Long List“, “Short List” Kate Spade Notebooks. Also, I would die for that Kate Spade Laptop bag.

Everyone who knows me knows that I love horizontal stripes.  Well today I came across what is now possibly my favorite online store, Chance.  Chance was created by Julia Leach who was the creative director for Kate Spade for 11 years and has branched out to create “artful classics”.  The focus of the brand is simply stated in the quote above, which I just adore.

Illustrator Extraordinaire

Jenny Bowers, Illustrator Extraordinaire! I love her use of bright colors that allow her illustrations to just pop off the page. And especially the elegant and girly subject matter. She is the one behind the new Kate Spade stationary and 2011 planner.  These illustrations would look great in my new office!
