Navy Shopbop Dress

Summer may be ‘unofficially’ over, but I am not quite ready for the seasons to change. After all, that means we will be leaving the island and heading back to Dallas. But, if there was one way to close out this epic summer it would be by reuniting with my husband after 30 days apart, watching my besties, Mackenzie and Will, tie the knot, and ending the weekend with one last stop at Juice Bar. This weekend was the perfect ending to the best summer ever!

Loeffler Randall Winnie Mules

First off, does anyone else feel like this Friday could not have come at a better time? We are finally in the home stretch to the holidays and I have never been so ready to check out and unplug completely with my family next weekend. I am not going to lie, this week has been filled with some late nights and very early mornings trying to wrap everything up before the end of the year. Between my full time job and this space (another full time job), it just doesn’t seem like there are enough hours in the day. But if I am being completely honest, I wouldn’t have it any other way! Thankfully I have a hubby who has been picking up some major slack around the house (#humblebrag).

On another note, do you ever find a brand that you think, “they just get me?” Loeffler Randall is one of those brands for me.  From her designs (the Clo Mule is calling my name) to her branding, I feel like we should probably just be best friends. So you can only imagine my excitement when I was asked to become an ambassador for the brand this year. I can’t wait to share the newest styles and insider info with all of you! Be sure to comment or email me with your email address and I will send you an exclusive 15% off discount code.

JMcLaughlin Winter White

According to the news, Dallas is about to get hit with an “arctic blast” tonight. Not really sure what that means, but I know a few things are for sure;  I will be lighting a fire, making one of my winter soup recipes and wrapping up in comfy pjs and a blanket.  Nothing gets me more in the holiday spirit than a cold winter night.  Anyone else still adjusting to this whole pitch black at 5:30 thing? I am definitely not loving the shorter days but my sleep game has been on point.

Tuckernuck Holiday

Our lights are up, our stockings are out (but not hung just yet), the Christmas candles are burning, and I am sipping on my favorite Holiday flavored Nespresso this morning gearing up to check everyone off my list during Cyber Monday. Does anyone else think work should be cancelled between Thanksgiving and New Years? I have a feeling I am not alone in this, but for most of us we are back at our desks today after a great long weekend with family and friends. Make sure to take a break today and get in little shopping because there are so many great sales you do not want to miss! Head to the bottom of this post for all my favorite Cyber Monday steals and deals!

If The Shoe Fits

Yesterday I was finally able to read the latest issue of Matchbook Magazine.  As I was scouring the pages and I came across this great article from Mackenzie Horan, the creator of the blog Design Darling, about the cover girl Jessie Randall and her show company, Loeffler Randall.  She not only has a dreamy, hip office space in SoHo but I would die to have every pair of her shoes.  I am normally a lover all heels (it could have something with being only 5’2″) but I love these loafers. They would be so cute with ankle pants or skirts and tights.  On the last page of the article there is a quote about being an individual which I think speaks to the style of her shoes. You can read the full article here.
