As soon as December hits, I find myself in full on hibernation mode and wearing only the softest pieces. Think cashmere sets, cozy socks and a really warm blanket. Add a holiday movie and a fire and I am set for the entire month.
Well, this post was originally to be titled, “How to Stay Healthy During Flu Season,” but after coming down with a bug last week that completely knocked me off my feet, I decided I am no longer an expert on how to not get sick during flu season. ;)
Pajamas and the holidays go together like peanut butter and jelly. One of my favorite holiday traditions is opening up one gift on Christmas Eve. Everyone has a present wrapped in the same paper and after dinner we open them up at the same time! Every year for the last 29 years, it had been a pair of new holiday pajamas. I finally caught on to the tradition at about year ten and naturally started adding my favorite pair of holiday pajamas to my wish list. After opening our present as fast as we can, we all immediately run, put them on, grab a mug of hot cocoa, and watch a Home Alone by the fire. It’s by far my favorite day of the year.
