I just love the long weekends, especially when they are full of fun plans.  Last night I had so much a great time chatting over drinks with Erin.  She is seriously a rockstar, and I am so excited about her new home decor brand launch, Grandiflora and happy to have a new friend in town.

If you follow me on Instagram, today we ventured to Columbus for an early morning to get the dogs groomed (I know super exciting things that you probably do not care one second about), but we were able to hop around town, eat some amazing biscuits and gravy at Skillet, have the best iced coffee ever- it was slow drip amazingness, and check out some of the amazing local stores in Short North.

The remainder of the weekend, we will be relaxing and I will definitely be doing some online shopping.  Since it is Columbus Weekend and all, of course, J.Crew is having 40% off and I think I need everything (well, I probably can’t get everything, so maybe just this sweater, a stripe tee, and another pair of my favorite pj’s.

I hope ya’ll have a wonderful long weekend!

Happy Monday! I am feeling super refreshed this morning after a very lazy weekend, hence the lack to “Lately” pictures.  To be really honest (like I always try to do on this blog), the pictures would have been of me sleeping on the couch, cleaning the kitchen, and watching a marathon of movies- not exactly a picture worthy weekend. We did take a spontaneous trip to Columbus yesterday afternoon for a few hours. We walked around a cute little area called Short North, had a beer at the Pint House, and reminisced as we drove through Greek row at OSU.  I cannot believe it has already been four years since I have been out of school.  Seriously a little crazy to think about…

During my super lazy weekend escapades, I spent lots of time on Pinterest (naturally) and kept coming across pictures of Taylor Tomasi Hill. Serious girl crush on her style, and that red hair. She has the entire package and she makes it look so effortless.  Although my style tends to be a little more classic than the red- headed bombshell, she makes me want to push the limit on my choices.  The master of pattern mixing, and that shocking red lipstick, I will definitely be taking notes from her this Fall.  Who are your style icons?
