I can never say no to a good sale and honestly over half of my wardrobe is from Shopbop now. After spending my time really cleaning out my closet last year, I’ve noticed filling it with buying classic, quality pieces has allowed me to have less, but wear more. Plus, I don’t have an urge to donate my entire wardrobe at the end of the season. ;)

Style Details No. 201

Well, I have officially gone rogue and all of my shopping carts are full of florals, white blouses and light denim.  Minus the fact that there is still snow on the ground in the Northeast––sorry friends, it’s pretty much perfect here in Dallas.  The tree outside my window is blooming with the most gorgeous white flowers and it is making me oh, so happy.

White Tee and High Waisted Denim

Being someone who would rather wear jeans over anything else in her closet, I still have trouble finding that “perfect” fit. So this year it has been my goal to purge my jean drawer and find five pairs of the perfect fitting denim. I have been doing some major research (read: shopping) to find my favorite pairs for this season and beyond. While the fashion guru’s say skinnies are out and straight leg are in; I am still not convinced and my skinnies are here to stay.

A big trend this season is fringe. I am normally not one to follow trends since I typically stick to classic colors and silhouettes, but I am loving this fringe trend.  At first when I saw a few pieces in the magazines, I thought it was going to look a little “wild, wild west,” but this SEA dress and Chloe Sandals (should I splurge?) completely changed my perspective.  I love the modern take on this fun texture.  What are your thoughts on this trend for Spring?

I have officially ditched my winter coats (thank you, Dallas weather) and have been craving floral prints and girly silhouettes. I am typically a total jeans girl, but the idea of a flowy dresses with extra soft tees gets me all giddy about warmer temps.  This weekend I was doing a little online shopping and started browsing the selection at Nordstrom TopShop.  Needless to say from the options below, I am totally obsessed with the crop top and midi skirt trend and I think I need (well, want) this distressed denim skirt. Let’s just say the 90’s are back to stay and I am okay with it. :)

Hermes for LEICA

How cool is this camera? I have been lusting over the LEICA M7 for months now and may have to splurge.  I was going to get the black but today I came across these special edition Hermes M7’s and I am dying! It is going straight to the top of my wish list.

Mini Fashionista

There has been lots of debate over the first picture in the news.  But, I have to say this little girl is one Fashionista.  Adorable!

I have been using Nars makeup for years now, especially their Dolce Vita Blush. (it is seriously the best!)  They have been getting some media attention from the Marc Jacobs runway at Fashion Week. On their website they have a makeup tips section, how to get their runway looks. My favorite look lately has been a bold coral lip with a fresh face, they call it A Statement Making Lip. I may have to get a tutorial.
