Anyone else feeling refreshed this week? I spent this past weekend catching up on sleep, watching all the Netflix (and taking care of a sick hubby), and finally content planning for the year, so this was the week to get back on track. Only a few weeks late to that January reset.Read more
Summer is not over, summer is not over…if I keep repeating it, maybe time will pause, right?! Okay, okay but in all honesty we are nearing the end of summer and I have been thinking about my Fall wardrobe and a few upcoming trips we have planned. While, summer will always be my favorite season, there is some refreshing about Fall style. Sweaters, monotone dressing, and streamlined looks are getting me excited for the cooler months to come.
Today is the last day of my 20’s. That sounds so strange and I am still having a few mixed feelings about this––99% of them being positive. I am actually looking forward to my 30s. Everyone keeps saying they are the best years of your life…but then again, people say that about your 20s, too! We weren’t planning on doing something big for my birthday this year, but in true Patrick nature he surprised me with a trip to wine country. Napa/Sonoma have been on our list forever and he really outdid himself with the itinerary. Since this is our first time to wine country, I would love to hear any recommendations on must-see spots!
I am slowly adjusting into my new routine and I am finally feeling a little bit more “normal” this week. I have missed telling you all about my day-to-day on the regular and feel like I have soo many things I want to share!
Well, I have officially gone rogue and all of my shopping carts are full of florals, white blouses and light denim. Minus the fact that there is still snow on the ground in the Northeast––sorry friends, it’s pretty much perfect here in Dallas. The tree outside my window is blooming with the most gorgeous white flowers and it is making me oh, so happy.
Happy March! I still can’t believe we are already in month three of 2018 and I am happy to say, my intentions I set for the year are still going strong. The sun finally made its first appearance in 10 days today and it made me realize how much I crave sunshine, oh and spring clothes. My Spring wishlist is currently overflowing with flowy dresses, floral prints and lots of white accessories.
So long gloomy, cold days, I’m in full on Spring mode right now. Although it’s currently grey and a chilly 40º in Dallas. After having to cancel my trip to Scottsdale this past weekend, I am really in need of some sunshine.
Raise you hand if you are bored of everything in your closet already? We are only at the end of January and that means few more “winter” months to get through before we can start pulling out those new lightweight dresses. That is, unless you are headed somewhere warm. So, my plan for the next few months is to go back to basics. Think tees, jeans, blazers and mixing in some new spring accessories.
After being stuck in bed last week with the flu, I spent endless hours browsing my favorite online retailers. I noticed when it comes to my Fall and Winter wardrobe, I am a creature of habit. Skinny jeans, cozy sweaters, silk tops, and investment pieces always end up in my shopping cart.
