Lusting: Glitz and Glam

I am in need of some sparkle in my life and I think this sequined clutch from Zara might do the trick.  It is the perfect size and has the right price tag (which is a major plus for me).  It is the perfect accessory to dress up a casual outfit or for a cocktail party.  Anyways, it is going on my never-ending “must have” list.

Joining the Club

So, I know lots of people have been posting about the “arm party” but I haven’t caught onto the trend yet, maybe it is because I don’t own a lot of bracelets.  However, my friend Caitlin is the queen of stacking perfectly crafted pieces together and making them look great.  She is my inspiration for this post and my new wish list of bracelets.  Some may be in my dreams, like the Cartier Love Bracelet but others like this J.Crew tortoise shell may be in my near future.

Wish I Was There

J.Crew’s edgy sister, Madewell is making a big name for themselves in fashion these days.  Alexa Chung, fashion icon and actress, launched her new collaboration during New York Fashion Week and it has been flying off the shelves ever since. Today, I came across these pics and wished I was in San Fran for the Alexa Chung for Madwell Lanch Party. Maybe someday… but for now I will just pick out everything I want here.

60's Style

Big shades, pearls, and pencil skirts seem to be the trend this fall.  And this fall’s tv line-up is no exception.  From Pan Am to Mad Men to the scandalous Playboy Club, this fall is turning back the clock a few decades and I have to say, I Like It.

Spike the Punch

I came across these cuties on Cheetah is the New Black and I fell in love.  At first I thought they were going to be too expensive, but little did I know these babies are under $40! What a steal!

Trending: Polka Dots

Are you seeing spots? I think my obsession with stripes is turning over and moving to polka dots. I just love this girly print. It is so easy to mix and match this pattern with colors and prints and these girls are spot on with their polka dots.

A Night of Glamour

My weekend was filled with work, work and more work. The most exciting part was watching the red carpet last night at the 2011 Emmy’s.  Here are a few of my favorites but Lea Michele in Marchesa and Gwyneth Paltrow in Pucci were on the top of my list.  What was your favorite moment of the night?

A Hint of Spring

A first timer to New York Fashion Week, J Crew, my all time favorite launched their Spring 2012 line amist the top designers.  Here are a few of my favorite looks but you can see the whole collection, here. Although my mind is in Fall, these looks are lust- worthy and I am wishing we could skip over winter and right into spring so I could wear that sparkly skirt number. Until Spring….
