Yesterday Conde Nast Traveler released their 2012 Hot List– the editors and writers “best” hotels and spa list for this year. Not only is one of my favorite hotels in Scottsdale (my hometown) on the list but there are some of the most exotic and elborate places in the world. I think being a Conde Nast Traveler editor could be one of the coolest jobs- go stay in places like Buenos Aires and write about your stay at one of the nicest hotels in the world (not too shabby).
The hotel that really stuck out at me was Rushmeyer’s in Montauk, New York. I know it is not in anything exotic or built into the hillside of Italy but it was a hotel that I felt was in arms reach. This trendy spot right off the coast of some of the best surfing in the US, is a grown-ups Summer camp getaway. They have ping pong, bicycles, music that plays all night long and cusine from the famous Manhattan joint, Fat Radish. This would be such a fun spot for a summer vacation in my book.
xox- a dash of details
