This weekend was one for the books! Patrick and I packed our bags and headed to New York for a quick weekend trip to see family and friends.
The main reason for the trip was to attend the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic with Amy and Mackenzie. This event has been on my bucket list and it was everything I could have dreamt of and more. From the picture perfect weather, beautiful people, champagne cocktails, and of course, the polo match, the day could not have been more perfect!
What I wore:
How do you decide what to wear to the chicest event of the summer? Amy and I spent
WAY too much time browsing online for the perfect dresses. I ended up in this darling Reformation dress that I will be wearing ALL summer! You probably already know about my love for basket bags this season, so I knew this BemBein Rose bag was going to be the perfect hands-free accessory–ideal for champagne drinking :)
I added a vintage bracelet, these tortoise earrings, and the most comfortable wedges.
Here were a few other options I loved for the event:
We sipped on Veuve Clicquot Rosé Rich cocktails all day! This is going to be my go-to drink this summer!
After the event we headed back on the ferry to the city (I finally got to see the Statue of Liberty!) and met up with Patrick and Mackenzie’s brother for (more) drinks at The Happiest Hour and then ended the day with dinner at Rosemary’s. It was the perfect ending to the perfect day!
I can’t wait to reunite with my girls on Nantucket in less than a month!
