As the official summer comes to an end next week, wedding season is ramping up! I recently read an article that states September and October have become the two most popular months to get married. That means out with April and June, and in with the Fall weddings!
Speaking of Fall weddings, Mackenzie and Will are getting married in 6 days! It feels like yesterday I arrived on Nantucket and we were 60 days away. Being up in Nantucket this summer has been such a blessing and getting to spend time helping Mackenzie with a few last details for the wedding has been a dream. Honestly, she had almost everything planned, ordered and was extremely organized by the time I arrived in July. I ended up creating projects for myself just so I could help. ;) I can say without a doubt, she did not miss a detail and this weekend is going to be filled with so much love and joy. I can’t wait for all of her guests to arrive (and my hubs!) and get the party started.
Since Labor Day weekend is the unofficial end to summer, I plan to wear all of my favorite summer pieces. The weekend is full of activities like the rehearsal dinner on Thursday, a bridal luncheon on Friday, a white party on Friday night and then the big event on Saturday. I will be wearing my darling bridesmaids dress on Saturday (can’t wait for you to see!), but I decided to pick up a few end-of-summer looks for the other events. Since it is an island wedding, the attire is “the brighter, the better.” If you have been following along for any amount of time, you know I am more of a neutrals kind of girl. But when I found this dress on sale at Club Monaco a few weeks ago, I knew it was the perfect dress for the occasion!
