COFFEE TALK

There is something you need to know about me, I am kind of A-Type.  Especially when it comes to my house.  I get totally embarrassed when someone stops by and I see old mail on the kitchen table or a glass in the sink. I wouldn’t necessarily call myself a clean freak, but I like to have everything in its place. I mean I even make my bed the second I wake up in the morning, pillows and all (I guess my mom taught me well, I was always told I had to make my bed before we could leave the house).  The reason I am telling this story is because I normally wouldn’t show you this instagram above because the blanket on the sofa is not folded and two because there is still plastic on the floor from the box. But I decided to suck it up for the sake of showing you our new coffee table, in all of its clear beauty.  There are two things I love about coffee tables, one because I can finally set my drink down when watching tv (I know, I am lazy) and two so that I can finally add some color and accessories to my neutral living room. Since the table is clear, there is a definite need for some large books to fill the space, and of course some good smelling candles.  I also found these darling accessories on this new-to-me online shop called Waiting on Martha, the shop has some darn cute things and to make it even better at reasonable prices.
