First off, I wanted to say thank you for all the comments, DM’s, emails and texts I have received about my new job. I am so happy to report that I am loving it and really believe things really do happen for a reason.

In case you missed the post last week, I am talking about my big career change. It has been the best adjustment, but this girl is exhausted so thank you for bearing with me this past week while I settle into my new grove.  Since I have been a little MIA, I thought I would give you a little life update in today’s post. We are currently en route to Florida to celebrate the life of my amazing papa who passed just a few weeks ago. He was an example of living life to the fullest. At 96 years young, he traveled all over the world with his bride until his last days.  I love him and miss him dearly, but will think of him every time we hop on a plane to our next destination.

Shopping– On a lighter note, I have been on a major shopping binge. So long are the days I spend in my workout clothes or pjs until 4pm, so my closet needed a little facelift. My daily wardrobe has consisted of a cute top, my new favorite jeans and these trusty mules. I forgot how much I love getting dressed in the morning! Since we are talking about shopping, Zara is killing it recently. I scored these Saint Laurent look-a-like slides, this cute white top, a few eyelet pieces, and this striped button down, to list a few!

Working Out– I have fallen off the wagon this last month, between the new job and traveling my workouts were the first thing to go. Honestly, for me, working out is my “me time” and I end up being happier and healthier for it. So I am excited to announce that I am the newest SoulCyle ambassador in Dallas. I will be riding in the mornings either 5:30 (with Kevin) or 6:30 (with Valentina)! If you see me, be sure to stop and day hi! After I finished BBG Week 12, I decided I needed to mix things up a bit. If any of you have a great workout class you love, please let me know!

Cooking– Considering I haven’t been on a grocery run in over two weeks probably spells it out for you. I really can’t remember the last time I cooked a real meal at home. Maybe typing this will get me back on track.  On another note, Patrick and I went to the most amazing dinner at Flora Street Cafe for our anniversary on Wednesday––it’s definitely worth it!

Life– Patrick and I celebrated our third wedding anniversary and ten years together! We have learned a few things along the way, but it just keeps getting better with time! Next week I am going to share a few things we have learned in the 10 years we have been together!

I chatted with Mackenzie this week and it made my heart so happy! I still wish she would move back to Dallas, but the next best thing is being able to plan trips together! She is going to Nantucket this weekend and I am oh, so jealous!

Around the web and town– The Goop pop up in Highland Park is pretty much my dream life in a store.  Beauty, cute clothes, and all things wellness.

My dear friend Jenn recently took a trip to Scottsdale and it brought me back to our wedding day :)

I know I am a little late to the party, but Julia’s new dress line is not to be missed.  Her and her team did not miss a detail! It is hard to pick a favorite, but I love this one, this maxi and this sweet eyelet dress.

On My WishlistSo many good under $200 finds!

This gingham one piece is calling my name

Thinking of splurging on these sneakers

My skin is feeling a little dull, thinking of adding this moisturizer to my routine.

Because I can’t get enough of Tuckernuck lately, my ever-growing wishlist: This party dress, this silk scarfthese earrings for upcoming weddings, this linen top, and the list goes on…

Happy weekend, Friends!
