BBStyling AvedaCurly Pureology PureAbundance Keratase DryBarDetox_2 Do you ever dream of having those perfectly tousled, beach waves? You know, like the kind that the surfer girls get right when they walk out of the water.  Especially in the summer, I try to keep my hair as healthy as possible.  Here are a few of my tried-and-true products that keep my hair looking and feeling healthy.

Pureology Hydrate Shampoo and Conditioner I have been using these amazing purple bottles since high school when my mom’s hair dresser recommended it to her.  My hair typically falls on the dry side, and this ZeroSulfate formula not only smells amazing but it also keeps my hair silky smooth and hydrated.

Kerastase Oleo-Relax Slim is the best thing since sliced bread.  For someone with curly, frizzy hair, this smoothing cream keeps my frizz in check (especially with the Dallas humidity).  It is a little on the pricey side, but lasts forever! You need less than a pea-size to get results.

Bumble and Bumble Styling Lotion  I have been known to use a few heat styling tools in my day, so BB Styling Lotion keeps gives my hair texture while still protecting it from the heat.

Aveda Be Curly My first thought about this product was that it was going to make my hair curlier, but when my amazing hair dresser told me that Be Curly would actually relax the curls and combat frizz, I knew this product was going to be a go-to, especially when I let my hair dry naturally.

Aveda Pure Abundance is what I like to call magic.  Pure Abundance gives your hair that extra volume and gives the appearance of thicker hair.  It is seriously LIFE CHANGING.

Detox by DryBar let’s talk about this game changer.  I have never been one of those girls who goes 3-5 days without washing her hair because honestly I just thought it was kind of gross.  Until last week when I made a trip to the DryBar for a celebratory blow out.  The stylist suggested trying Detox instead of washing my hair everyday (or even twice a day if I was working out).  Well, I have tried it a few days in a row, and it has changed everything. I can go 3 days without washing my hair, and hopefully it will help keep my hair healthy and eliminate some of the breakage from all of my styling tools.
