So, it’s been a minute. Unintentionally, I took a mini break and I’ve missed you! A few weeks ago I filled you in our my busy schedule as of late and the reason why I had been a little MIA. My creative cup has been so full lately and I cannot wait to share all of the fun things I have been working on.Read more
And just like that the unofficial start to summer kicks off this weekend, which means it is now appropriate to wear white jeans. Okay, let’s be honest people, I wear white jeans all year round (I’m a rule breaker, it’s fine), but the newest styles are here for summer and I have been testing out a few new favorites just in time for the holiday.
Can you think of anything better on a Tuesday than a surprise sale?
Between date nights, major R&R and spending time getting our backyard ready for summer, this weekend at home was just what I needed.
So, today I’m getting real about living in the moment and how I am making the change to be the best version of myself.
Oh, Spring. You are by far my favorite season.
Fresh flowers blooming, the perfect temperature to spend all day outdoors (well, if you live in Dallas), and lighter layers and flowy dresses. For these simple reasons, Spring has always been the season I feel refreshed and recharged.
ICYMI, I was on #springbreak last week in Maui– I will be recapping our incredible trip soon, but it honestly was the perfect way to reset the year and come back home feeling inspired and ready to take on the world.
I am currently on my way to Denver right now for a little work/play getaway. We are heading up to the mountains this weekend, but unfortunately there hasn’t been any snow, so it doesn’t look like we will be getting to be ski bunnies. Although we won’t be spending our days on the slopes, I am looking forward to lots of aprés ski cocktails by the fire (sans the skiing part) and of course, sweater weather.
Anyone else thinking how is it could only be hump day? This week is moving at a snail’s pace and I am ready for the weekend. Since yesterday felt like it should be Friday, we headed out for a date night. I have been loving this off-the-shoulder top. I mean, stripes and off the shoulder, its a win-win in my book.
I am easing back into the week after our fun holiday weekend! I definitely ate, drank and laughed my way through the ultimate Texas holiday weekend at our families Ranch. It was so hard to wake up this morning and realize it is time to get back to work and working out. Over-indulging was the word of the weekend. *This girl loves her dips and hotdogs.
So let’s talk about my favorite outfit now. White on white is my go-to in the summer for easy dressing. Throw on a flowy top, white shorts or jeans and you look effortlessly put-together. This white tunic from Anthropologie has been on major repeat. For petite girls, it is the perfect casual top without looking too oversized. Add a little gold jewelry and you can walk out the door in a second.
