I could go on and on with the motivational quotes I kept repeating in my head this past month. But the hard part is over! We made it through the hardest part, the beginning. I am proud to say, I worked out at least four days a week in the month of January. What I realized––in my 30th year of life is that change doesn’t happen overnight (anymore) and hard work is really the only way to see results. So without further adieu, a little recap of my fitness journey in the month of January.
I am on week 6 of BBG and I am loving every minute of the workout plan. I have noticed that the Monday, Wednesday, Friday schedule holds me accountable and to a routine. I have never been so excited to go to the gym everyday, even when I’m tired. Honestly, I haven’t lost a pound since starting the workouts in December, but I am starting to see positive changes in my body, which to me is more important than the number on the scale. I talked about my workout schedule in this post if you are interested in reading. The most frequently asked question I have been getting lately is, Where do you do your BBG workouts? We belong to Equinox and so I use the gym, however you can totally do them at home with minimal equipment. I love being able to hop on the treadmill for a quick warmup before starting the workouts. I also tried some new workout classes this month! Towards the end of the month I was really sore, so I added in some hot yoga on Sundays and tried Orange Theory with my besties in Scottsdale when we were traveling. They both have been doing the workout for years and I can see why they love it.

Now let’s talk clothes, because I live for the “look good, feel good” moto. You could call me an Outdoor Voices groupie. I have been hooked on the brand after trying my first pair of leggings on two years ago. I now have three of these Outdoor Voices sets and I can’t get enough. The fit is super flattering and the patterns are everything. This pair is currently sitting in my cart. I also have the Tech Sweat leggings and sports bra that I love for warm weather or hot yoga. They feel like butta on your skin and squeeze you in all the right places :)
