There is nothing like a girls’ night to make the week just a little brighter. We started our Thursday girl’s night on a whim and it is for sure the best part of my week. It typically involves take out and a post-gym look, but sometimes it’s fun to jazz things up a bit. I invited the gals for a little pre-spring fling to use my entertaining pieces from Anthropologie’s new collection.

Somehow I blinked and it’s already March. This year has been full of fun filled weeks and weekends. It’s flying by and while I am not wanting time to stop, this month I plan to be more intentional with my days. The last two months, I have noticed a shift in my mindset since I started focusing on being in the moment.Read more
We all love Amazon. Okay, well that’s a major assumption (maybe some of you don’t), but really I don’t know one person that haven’t ordered at least one item on Amazon. A new package arrives at our home at least three times a week (read: Patrick’s late night ordering. hehe) But in all honesty, it just makes everything extremely easy and convenient. I even find myself adding unnecessary items to my cart, but hey two-day free shipping makes those impulse buys just a little more fun.

Hi Friends! I hope you had a lovely weekend. We had the best weekend thanks to some incredible weather, a fun black tie event, and of course, The Oscars last night. Did you watch? I have been playing the Star Is Born soundtrack on repeat today. My creative juices have been flowing lately and I am excited to share some fun, new content with all of you!Read more
Happy Friday, friends! I hope yesterday was filled with a little extra love. We ended up having pizza night at our house with some friends and had a great night. Earlier this week, I mentioned re-arranging our living room. This weekend I am planning to style our new coffee table (post coming soon) and enjoying some extra R&R on the sofa with a side of Netflix. ;)Read more
Spring is on the horizon and I have basket bags, flowy dresses, crisp white tops and sandals on the brain. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good chunky sweater, but Spring is my love language.

The weather was so lovely in Charleston, I could feel a hint of Spring in the air. Thanks to the nice weather, we spent the entire day outdoors, walking around downtown, snapping pictures of pretty houses (Tradd Street is my favorite) and ending the day with a quick bite and bubbles at Raw 167––a must stop if you are in Charleston. I knew I wanted to be casual and comfortable for our day of walking, so this all white look felt perfect for our day of activities.Read more
Last weekend I hopped on a plane to Charleston for a fun girl’s weekend with Mackenzie, Carly, Jillian, and Lauren. We actually planned this trip a year ago when we were in Nantucket and I had been counting down the days until the weekend finally arrived. We had the best time thanks to our little tour guide, Jillian for the best girls weekend! She moved to Charleston a few years ago and planned our entire itinerary with all of her favorite spots around town.Read more
February is here and I couldn’t be happier. This time of the year gives me all the good vibes, slightly warmer temps (hello, 80 degrees even if it is just for a day or two), and the chance to finally settle into a routine again. It always seems like the first month of the year is a time to press the reset button and February is a time to enjoy the new routine. In case you missed it, I was in Charleston this weekend with Mackenzie, Jillian, Lauren and Carly. We had the best time exploring and eating and drinking our way through the city! One of my favorite things about blogging the last eight years are the wonderful friends I have met along the way! I landed back in Dallas last night just in time to watch the Superbowl––ie: the commercials and halftime show.Read more
I spent the later half of the weekend reorganizing my drawers and came across so many good pieces that I had either 1. forgot about, 2. were tucked away at the bottom of the drawer.Read more
