DAY 2 IN MAUI

Maui Hawii in Solid and Striped

Get ready for picture overload, because Day 2 in Maui was a jam-packed day full of sunrise beach walks, poolside cabana hangs, couples massages, and an Ultimate Dinner that we will never forget.

We woke up at 5am on the second day of our trip. Thanks to the time difference, we really had a full day to experience the island. Since we were up so early, we made Nespresso’s in the room and sat out on the balcony and listened to the birds chirps and the crashing of the waves.  After we finished our coffee, we headed down to the beach to watch the sun rise.  We ended up walking a few miles on the beach and watching a group do SUP (Stand Up Paddle Boarding) Yoga! Maybe, I will attempt this on our next trip!

After our morning stroll, we worked up an appetite so we headed up to DUO for a quick breakfast before heading to the pool for a little sun and relaxation.  The fresh fruit was seriously out of this world! Why does everything taste better in Hawaii?

The Four Seasons Maui has the most amazing “adult only” pool. The Serenity pool may have the best view on the island. The infinity edge pool and swim up bar were definitely the highlight.  Poolside wearing Solid and Striped Swimsuit and Indego Africa Hat

After being in total relaxation mode from the pool, we headed to the spa for a beachside couples’ massage! The sound of the ocean waves crashing was the most relaxing experience.

After our massage, we headed back up to the pool for a little more sun before freshening up for dinner! We met the staff in the lobby and they took us to our beautiful table for two down by the water.  The Ultimate Dinner was the highlight of the trip for us and was the perfect way to celebrate our anniversary.

The Four Seasons team did not miss a detail.  The table was set with the most gorgeous Hawaiian floral arrangement. Matt, our server for the evening (and our best friend at the end of the night) greeted us with a little bubbly to get the night started and watch the gorgeous sunset.  A little background, The Ultimate Dinner experience is a multi-course meal customized by the Executive Chef.  We talked with the chef upon our arrival to the resort and he created a personalized menu just for us! I still have our signed menu in my album from the trip.

This dinner was really a once-in-lifetime experience.
