Last weekend I hopped on a plane to Charleston for a fun girl’s weekend with Mackenzie, Carly, Jillian, and Lauren. We actually planned this trip a year ago when we were in Nantucket and I had been counting down the days until the weekend finally arrived. We had the best time thanks to our little tour guide, Jillian for the best girls weekend! She moved to Charleston a few years ago and planned our entire itinerary with all of her favorite spots around town.
Read moreFor my 30th birthday, Patrick surprised me with 72 hours in Napa––it was magical. Wine country has been on our list for years and I was so excited when he told me the news. He planned every detail, so I really can’t take too much credit for this itinerary, but let me just say, it was a good one.
Last year at this time I was headed to Surfside for my daily dip in the ocean with Mackenzie. This year I am hiding inside from the triple digit temps in Dallas. Anyone have a time machine?! All jokes aside, this past trip to Nantucket was just the spark I needed to fall back in love with my camera. I was so inspired by the fresh blooms, the water and colors that I ended up taking over a thousand photos in just a few short days. Being behind the camera is something I truly love.
This past weekend I made my way down to Playa Del Carmen for one of my high school besties Bachelorette parties. If you were following along on Stories, you may have already seen a glimpse into all the fun we had. I left with a glowing tan and abs from laughing so hard. Girls trips are really good for the soul. ;)
Happy December 1st! If you have been following along, you may already know we have been in Vail, Colorado this past week with our friends, Elyse and James. It was their first time to Vail and we had the best time showing them around our favorite little ski town. Minus the fact there is only one ski run open and hardly any snow, I just love this place. Plus, it’s hard to complain about cozy sweaters, sitting by the fire, and spending the week with your best friends!
Finally catching up after a fun week in Palm Springs celebrating Amy’s birthday with Mackenzie, Brendan and Max and then the best weekend with family in Scottsdale. Minus the fact that I am feeling slightly behind and overwhelmed––can you believe Thanksgiving is in two weeks, I had the best time in the sunshine.

Get ready for picture overload, because Day 2 in Maui was a jam-packed day full of sunrise beach walks, poolside cabana hangs, couples massages, and an Ultimate Dinner that we will never forget.
We woke up at 5am on the second day of our trip. Thanks to the time difference, we really had a full day to experience the island. Since we were up so early, we made Nespresso’s in the room and sat out on the balcony and listened to the birds chirps and the crashing of the waves. After we finished our coffee, we headed down to the beach to watch the sun rise. We ended up walking a few miles on the beach and watching a group do SUP (Stand Up Paddle Boarding) Yoga! Maybe, I will attempt this on our next trip!

One of my favorite days this summer was spent on the Endeavor. Thanks to the best host ever, Mackenzie chartered this beautiful sailboat for the day to cruise around the Nantucket Sound. There is something so unforgettable about the wind blowing in your hair, the blue water and of course, nautical stripes.
