And I am off again, this time to sunny San Diego for one of my best friend’s bachelorette party.  I am sure the weekend will be filled with trips down memory road, lingerie parties, and lots of booze (I probably should have added a bottle of Advil to my packing list).   Happy Friday!

BEACH BOUND

As I take off to San Diego for the weekend, I realized how many trips I have planned for this summer (thanks to P and the crazy amount of weddings we both have) we will be jet setting almost every other weekend until September. Starting last week with my trip to San Fran, I am back to sunny California for my cousins wedding. Thankfully I took off a few days early so I could enjoy some R&R on the beach.

I thought it would be fun to document my travels on the blog, so a few Travel Details post followed by some Lately snapshot posts will be popping up all summer long.

Our Travel Itinerary (Note: If you live in any of these cities, I would love some suggestions on restaurants, things to do, or favorite places to go because honestly we are pretty clueless when it comes to most of these places)

San Diego / Nashville / Los Angeles / New York / Austin / Scottsdale / Chicago

So to kick off the travel series with San Diego, there are certain travel essentials I always bring with me on every trip. A pair of jeans, white and grey v-neck tees, maxi dress, denim jacket, but when it comes to the beach my suitcase always gets pretty full of fun prints, too many swimsuits, the perfect hat, and a summer scarf for night.

Day 23- A Dash of Travel

Today I traveled home to Scottsdale for the holiday with two suitcases ( one for my clothes and one for all of the gifts!) Surprisingly, the airport craziness was not too bad for the 2 days before Christmas. Hope everyone is done with their Christmas shopping but if not Glitter Guide has some great last minute gift ideas

My Recent Adventure

While I have been gone not only have I been working a ton but I went to one of my favorite US cities, Charleston, South Carolina. It is such a quaint town with lots of great antiques, food, architecture, and of course a beach near by.

If you ever end up in this cute city here are a few “must stops”:

1. Charleston City Market 2. The grassy lawn at the College of Charleston 3. Fleet’s Landing-for a casual lunch on the water 4. High Cotton, Blossoms, and Pearlz on East Bay- delish! 5. King Street for shopping- a must on vacay

Sunset Beach

Last year at this time I was here, the beautiful Sunset Beach Hotel and Restaurant on Shelter Island in the Hamptons.  It is this darling spot with the most wonderful French cusine and the best bottles of rose (which was my favorite part). It is one of the chicest spots (in my opinion) in the Hamptons and part of the Andre Balazs collection of hotels.  Let’s just say I felt like a movie star for the day and I cannot wait to go back in August!

When In Doubt

Take a vacation.  I am in Arizona for the weekend to celebrate my cousins’ graduation with my family.  There will be lots of pool time, shopping, and hiking. So I am taking a vacation from blogging until Tuesday but until then… have a fabulous week/weekend.

On a Vacay

Sorry for being gone for so long. So you know how I told you earlier that I wasn’t going home for Easter…well, my parents suprised me with a ticket and I took a long and much needed vacay to sunny Scottsdale for the long weekend.  But don’t worry, I am back now with lots of great inspiration for my relaxing trip!

The Grey Dog

When i was in New York this summer and my cousin took me to this little hole in the wall..best idea ever!  The Grey Dog is a little sandwhich and salad joint in the East Village and let me tell you they have the best Sangria I have ever had.  The place is so charming with a handwritten menu and small tables both inside and out.

Valentine's Day Weekend Adventure…

An amazing adventure it was.. the bf took me on a weekend getaway to Chicago and he did not skip any steps. A limo, roses, champagne, the most beautiful dinner, shopping on Michigan Avenue, it was perfect! The images above are from our dinner at Sixteen in the Trump International, we had the most amazing view of Chicago and the food was to die for, and of course the wine.  The executive chef, Chef Brunacci creates melt in your mouth dishes with a twist on New American cuisine.  Overall it was an amazing weekend.  Hope your Valentine’s Day is as great as mine was :)
