PALM SPRINGS

Holiday House Palm Springs

Finally catching up after a fun week in Palm Springs celebrating Amy’s birthday with Mackenzie, Brendan and Max and then the best weekend with family in Scottsdale.  Minus the fact that I am feeling slightly behind and overwhelmed––can you believe Thanksgiving is in two weeks, I had the best time in the sunshine.

So here’s a little unseasonably warm content for all of you sitting in your sweaters with the heat on ;)

Monogrammed Tunic / Hat / Sunglasses / Swimsuit (on sale!) / Necklace

Amy planned the chicest birthday trip at the Holiday House Palm Springs. The hotel was designed by the incredible, Mark D. Sikes and I wanted to move in! As a lover of all things blue and white, this was a dream!

Growing up in Arizona meant Palm Springs was always a stop-over on our way to San Diego or LA. It had been years since I visited the cute retro town.  I was obsessed with the 60’s vibes, antique stores, and great restaurants and hotels.  Here are a few things you don’t want to miss in Palm Springs:

WHERE TO STAY

Holiday House Palm Springs

The Parker

The Avalon

Korakia Pensione

THE ACE

L’Horizon

WHERE TO EAT

Workshop Kitchen: From the ambience to the fresh farm to table meal, this is a spot you do not want to miss!

Cheeky’s: This famous spot was worth the wait! We all ordered the crispy waffles and were not disappointed!

Norma’s at the Parker: While we didn’t end up getting to enjoy a meal at Norma’s––note, they close from 3-5pm, we did head to the wine bar, Counter Reformation, for a few tapas and a great glass of rosé.

Lemonade Stand: The chicest lemonade stand you will ever find!

SO.PA: Our last night we enjoyed the most fabulous dinner at SO.PA, they even treated us to celebratory champagne to toast the birthday girl!

Chi Chi at the Avalon: Don’t skip breakfast poolside at the Avalon.

Bootlegger Tiki: Looking for a fun cocktail? This spot has you covered.

WHAT TO DO

While we spent most of our time relaxing poolside at the Holiday House, there are so many fun things to do in Palm Springs

Go Antique Shopping (our friends Max and Brendan found the cutest vintage ice bucket!)

Mid Century Modern House Tour- We didn’t do an official house tour, but drove through some of the streets in PS and we spotted the famous pink door!

Enjoy a Spa Day

Moorten Botanical Gardens: Makes for a great photo op!

Do a mini day trip to Joshua Tree and Salvation Mountain
