How did this happen? We are only ten days away from Christmas and less than a week away from spending the holidays in Scottsdale with my family. Our holiday schedule is packed full of birthdays and holiday parties, but I am looking forward to some down time with the fam and watching all the Christmas movies. I’m not going to lie, my tv has been on an endless loop of the Hallmark channel the last few weeks.
Shopbop has arrived on Amazon––it’s like Christmas morning! ‘The Shop’ by Shopbop made my last minute shopping a little more dangerous, but oh so good!
Speaking of Shopbop, I have been on the hunt for the perfect NYE dress, debating between this one and this one. Honestly, I would be happy wearing one of these The Great sweat sets and some Netflix on the couch this year. I am also stocking up on some last minute holiday candles.
My mom is hosting her annual Christmas cookie exchange when we get into town next week. I am so excited to unplug and spend time with the fam! I typically make traditional sugar cookies, but I am thinking about trying this Christmas bark recipe.
Are you headed somewhere warm for the holidays? Last year we hopped over to Cabo with our friends Mackenzie and Will and these swimsuits would be so cute! Obsessed with this bikini and this one piece.
In case you missed it, I am giving away a Gray Malin print over on my Instagram. Be sure to enter for your chance to win––the giveaway ends tonight at midnight!
I am still deciding on what to wear for Christmas day. Do you get dressed up or stay casual? We typically stay in our PJ’s while we cook, but I ordered this fair isle sweater (here is another cute option!) to wear for dinner.
I am hopping to finish all of my Christmas shopping today. Anyone else still have a few people left on their list? Head over to the HOLIDAY tab for some cute ideas! I will be adding some more throughout the day as I finish my shopping.
Before the hustle and bustle of the week before Christmas starts, I just wanted to say a quick THANK YOU to all of you! It has been such an exciting year for A Dash of Details and it would not have been the same without all of you here! If you are new here or have been followings since the beginning, thank you for following along on this crazy (8 year) journey. I am forever grateful to have connected with so many amazing women through this site (some who I now call my best friends!). If you haven’t noticed, I have been taking this holiday season a little slower than originally planned, but I wouldn’t change it for anything! Don’t worry, I have so many wonderful things planned for the end of the year and 2019!
