My morning routine has looked pretty different the last couple months, but one thing that has stayed the same: my skincare routine. A girlfriend of mine gave me a great piece of advice when I was pregnant; take a shower every morning. It was honestly the best takeaway since having our little babe. No matter how tired I am, or even if it means a two minute rinse, I somehow find a few seconds to fit in a quick shower and enjoy an easy skincare routine every morning. I’ve refined my routine slightly since the last time we chatted skincare, so without further adieu my am/pm skincare regimen.

After meeting Tata in person a little over 3 years ago, my holy grail, bring with me to a deserted island product would be my TATA HARPER REGENERATING CLEANSER. I know some experts say that cleanser isn’t the most important product, but I completely disagree when it comes to this product. THIS CLEANSER not only smells amazing, makes my skin feel fresh, removes makeup, but it also feels like a mini facial every time I wash my face. Every once in a while, I like to double cleanse at night and switch between the True Botanicals Hydrating CleanserGOOP LUMINOUS MELTING CLEANSER or a new favorite the Farmacy Green Clean. These are great for leaving your skin clean and makeup free, yet hydrated.

Step 2 is something I added into the routine when I was pregnant when my skin was looking dull. My skin tends to be really dry, so I always thought I shouldn’t use a toner, but I was so wrong. This little extra step preps my face for the serums and leaves it feeling fresh and clean. I honestly haven’t skipped this step in the morning because It feels like such a nice wake up call. In addition to the Indie Lee COQ-10 Toner, I love a good hydrating mist. If I have time, I like to do a spritz between each step in the routine. Most of the time I skip this and just use at the end of my routine or throughout the day to give myself a little skin a little refresh!

A complete game changer: Vintner’s Daughter Active Botanical Serum. Not sure what took me so long after hearing rave reviews (maybe the high price tag), but I wish I had started using this serum sooner. From dark spots to fine lines, I swear this product has changed the texture of my skin, for the better. Every time I use it, my skin feels smooth and leaves the dewy finish I am always searching for with makeup. I honestly stopped wearing makeup, sans concealer (those lack-of-sleep, dark circles are real) and mascara since using this product. My pregnancy dark spots are slowly fading and I think it is with big thanks to this product. Since I have been trying to keep my routine short and sweet, this is the only serum I use in the AM. At night, I love this repair serum and add the Vitamin C booster. A few other products that are currently in my cart and have me excited to try: this and this. Follain is one of my favorite one stop shops for everything clean beauty.

I actually just finished the Tata Harper Hyaluronic Gel Moisturizer last week and I am excited to try something new. My post-pregnancy skin is craving something super hydrating and cool. Honestly, skin still feels like a lizard (anyone else dealing with this?) despite drinking tons of water each day. Throughout the years, I’ve found myself being super picky when it comes to moisturizer––and I’ve have tried A LOT of different brands. Some leave your skin too sticky, some don’t absorb well, and others just don’t seem to do the trick. I just keep trying different products until one day I find the perfect one. I am going to try this one next. Grace Atwood raves about this product and really anything she endorses I am willing to try at least once. Her skin is flawless!

There are a few other products to note.

This face oil is wonderful even under makeup in the AM.

I’ve been testing this AHA resurfacing night serum for a couple weeks and I’ve noticed my skin is glowing in the morning.

Really interested in testing this sunscreen. I honestly haven’t found one I love to go under my makeup.

This eye cream is saving my tired eyes.

My ALL-TIME favorite mask. Hot tip: use on top of Regenerating Cleanser for a mini facial.
