I am slowly but surely perfecting my skincare game. Last year I switch to almost all clean products and I have never looked back. I have found the products that work best for my skin and I am so happy with the results. Dewy, hydrated and clean are the name of the game for this dry skin gal. So without further adieu, The Clean Beauty Edit

Tata Harper Natural Skincare

A few months back I attended a luncheon with Tata Harper, the creator of the all natural beauty line. I was fortunate enough to sit next to her during the lunch and learned a great deal about natural beauty, wellness and the importance of skincare. I should start by saying her skin was glowing, but more importantly she was the most kind and generous lady. I was so happy to have met the women who created such wonderful products.

Resurfacing Mask / Cleanser / Hydrating Essence / Face Serum / Eye Serum / Moisturizer / Face Oil

When it comes to my winter beauty routine, the first thing I think about is moisturizer. With the dry, cold weather my skin begs for something silky and soft.  Last year, I was introduced to Tata Harper and her amazing all natural skincare line.  Ever since that first introduction, I have been trying all of her products, however my absolute favorite is her Reparative Moisturizer.  Not only does it smell amazing but it keeps my face feeling refreshed all day. Since Tata uses only natural ingredients, I know the products are wonderful for my skin and I love the glow it gives my face in the morning.

I have talked about this before, but now being in my mid-twenties I have really tried to focus on taking care of my skin.  This fall I was able to stop into the Espa Spa for my first-ever facial (I do not know why I waited so long to experience the amazingness).  Like I already knew, the esthetician told me my skin was extremely dry.  Espa Spa at the Joule has their own line of amazing moisturizers and she recommended I use the Calm and Soothing line to give me that supple and silky skin I was looking for. Both products are my go-to in my morning and night routine.  I always love to hear about new and amazing products, do you have any favorite winter products you love?

With my upcoming nuptials, I have really been trying to step up my beauty game.  I am a total creature of habit when it comes to skincare and makeup.  I started using Tata Harpers Regenerating Cleanser and the Rebuilding Moisturizer back in December, and I can’t imagine using anything else on my face.  I finally caved and bought a Clarisonic last year, but other than that my regimen is pretty minimal. I have been wanting to try a eyelash conditioner for sometime now, but I wasn’t sure if it would actually work. That is, until I saw my momma last month and noticed her eyelashes were soooo long (she thinks they doubled in length).  Thanks to my parents for listening to my “hints,” they sent me a bottle of RevitaLash to try for my birthday.  Per my fiance, his one request for the wedding is that I do not wear any fake eyelashes (it’s a long story for another time), so hopefully this RevitaLash keeps my eyelashes looking long and healthy. After doing some research, I should notice a difference within the first 3 months….so keep your fingers crossed for me. Do you have any beauty products you swear by, please share with my in the comments section.

When Summer rolls around, I am always on the search for the best new beauty products.  My skin and hair tend to be on the dry side all year long, so there are a few go-to products I use season after season. After a lot of failed attempts, I have finally come to find a few products that give my face a fresh glow.

One of my favorites is Tata Harper Revitalizing Body Oil, it keeps my skin moisturized all day long without that gross greasy feeling.  In the summer, I love to let my hair air dry and add a few spritzes of Sea Mist to give it a “just got out of the ocean” look.  Another one of my favorite things I use to transition from Winter to Summer, is to change up my fragrance.  I am currently on a Chloe kick, but there are so many citrusy scents that are perfect for those hot summer days.

What are your go-to Spring/Summer beauty products? I am always on the lookout for new products to add to my rotation.

ADOD_LATELY1-25-6After a week away from the blog, I am finally back and with lots of updates. Last week I had a mini meltdown mostly due to complete exhaustion and being sick. Working full time, blogging, starting to plan a wedding, and still trying to have a life, really caught up with me; resulting in a total breakdown. Instead of pushing myself like I normally would, I decided to take a break from all the extras, focus on work and go to bed early every night. Yesterday was the first day I finally felt back to normal. Thankfully, woke up feeling completely inspired.

Also, a little side note: *I am still getting used to this new blog format and just realized that you can no longer follow me on Bloglovin’ without re-subscribing, so here you go folks- use this link to follow me on Bloglovin’. I guess it is better late than never :) Follow my blog with Bloglovin

ADOD_LATELY1-25-3That feeling of complete exhaustion started with a trip to NYC to fulfill my MOH duties for my cousin’s bachelorette party, and boy, it was great time.  I made these tote bags with each girls’ initial embroidered in her wedding colors, a bottle of champagne, a few of my favorite Essie polishes, and all sorts of pink/red lipsticks that were stuffed inside. There were lots of other fun activities, but what happens in New York, stays in New York :)

Is anyone else sick of this cold, dry weather yet? I have been dreaming I lived in California at the moment, but until that day I have been using this Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask to keep my skin healthy and smooth.

ADOD_LATELY1-25-5A few recent favorites- these Zara booties and a little lace (just in time for V-Day)

ADOD_LATELY1-25-4I think you know by now, but Patrick and I love to travel. Currently we are planning our trips for Spring (6 and counting…) Oh, and a little bubbly engagement gift from a friend.

ADOD_LATELY1-25-8I have been sipping on this lately, kind of obsessed with this grapefruit fizzy water (which is a great alternative to soda, a bad habit I am trying to kick for good)

One of my goals for 2014 is to start a skincare routine, but more importantly to use all natural products. The second I turned 25; I started noticing wrinkles on my forehead, around my eyes, and mouth. I know you might laugh but it seriously was the instant I looked in the mirror on my 25th birthday.  At that moment I realized how important a regular beauty routine really is for your skin’s health. Honestly, until now I have never taken wonderful care of my skin and face. I have been blessed with a pretty clear face my entire life so using soap and store brand face lotion tended to be my daily routine.  When I realized that these products were just not cutting it anymore (my face started to peel and those ugly lines started to show), my mom suggested I find a skincare line that will help nourish my dry skin.  After reading a ton of articles and reviews on different skincare lines, I found Tata Harper.

I wish I had started using these products 10 years ago, because as Tata says, “it is never to early to start focusing on your skin’s health”.  Being from Columbia, skincare was always important to Tata. When she was old enough and could not find any products that were 100% natural she decided to create her own. In order to learn more about the 100% natural skincare line, I was fortunate to speak with someone on Tata’s staff.  Clare answered all of my questions about the benefits of using an all-natural skincare regimen.  It was astonishing how much I did not know about the importance of skincare and skin health.

Being somewhat of a health freak, I really limit the amount of medicine and chemicals that go into my body (another one of my goals this year is to eat CLEAN), so why would I allow those chemicals to be soaking into my skin everyday? Most (a scary number of) drug store and department store beauty brands contain fillers. If you don’t know what filler is, it is a useless ingredient that either makes a product creamy, smell better, or contains preservatives to increase the life of the product.  GUYS, FILLERS ARE SO BAD! Tata’s philosophy is to use the least amount of fillers as possible, so only the most potent and active ingredients (between 9 and 29) are used on your skin.  They also make all of their products at their beautiful Vermont laboratory; someday I hope I can go visit this marvelous place.  Tata is completely hands on when it comes to creating, researching, and producing her products.

So here it is, for you guys to start the new year off on the right track Tata Harper is offering one LUCKY reader their Winter Moisturizing Essentials set.  These five daily essentials will keep your skin looking silky smooth and moisturized during these long winter days (especially this extreme cold that I know most of you are experiencing).

Step 1: Refreshing Cleanser: This product cleanses, exfoliates and moisturizes the skin while leaving it soft with no film layer like most normal soaps do. I am a huge fan of the smell of this cleanser which is made from the essential oils that are created at the Tata Laboratory in Vermont.

Step 2: Reparative Moisturizer *my favorite product*: use two pumps over your face and neck to keep your skin hydrated all day and night. Made with 28 natural humectants, it hydrates your skin without using any fillers.

Step 3: Replenishing Nutrient Complex: Perfect for blemishes, red spots, and those unwanted little lines (we all have them). This multivitamin is a weightless serum that protects the skin from the everyday environmental wear and tear and boots the skins renewal process at night.

Step 4: Be Fierce: Talk about hydration, this lip treatment hydrates and nourishes lips all day b using Green Tea and Acai Oils. It is perfect for those super cold, dry days.

Step 5: Revitalizing Body Oil: This anti-aging treatment delivers complete rejuvenation to the entire body making it look smoother and visibly healthier.  Don’t forget your hands! This is a great product to keep your hands looking young and wrinkle- free.
