Last weekend I hopped on a plane to Charleston for a fun girl’s weekend with Mackenzie, Carly, Jillian, and Lauren. We actually planned this trip a year ago when we were in Nantucket and I had been counting down the days until the weekend finally arrived. We had the best time thanks to our little tour guide, Jillian for the best girls weekend! She moved to Charleston a few years ago and planned our entire itinerary with all of her favorite spots around town.

Does anyone else feel that way when they travel? This weekend was jam-packed with events, lots of girl talk, cupcakes, and wine (you know all of the essentials for a girls weekend). On Saturday, Patrick’s aunts hosted a shower for his sister (the bride to be) at a darling place in Kansas City, called Axois. It was the perfect mix of preppy decor, bright spring flowers, and amazing french cuisine. After the shower, we walked around the Crestwood Shops and to my surprise stumbled upon the most well-curated store of which I had never been. I think I have walked by a time or two but never stepped inside until this weekend. To say completely fell in love with George was an understatement. Well selected coffee table books, to the Savon de Marseille soaps, to the amazing one-of-a-kind furniture, I wanted to take home everything. As far as the rest of the weekend, it will be left to your imagination, as it was a bachelorette party, and you know what happens at the girls weekend, stays at the girls weekend :)
