You know when you have those weeks that just don’t go as planned? I am feeling it this week and with lots of changes happening behind the scenes, I can’t help but be super excited for this weekend. I am headed to Connecticut to host Mackenzie’s baby shower this weekend! I am so excited to escape the heat in Dallas and enjoy some time with my girlfriends.

A couple weeks ago I asked y’all what you wanted to see this holiday season and the most requested was a curated list of my personal favorite cyber week sales. This time of the year can be so overwhelming (especially with all of the amazing sales!), so going into Thanksgiving week having game plan, check list, and budget is essential for staying on track.

We are headed to Scottsdale today for the holiday weekend and my bestie’s wedding shower. I am so excited to see my family and friends (it feels like its been a minute). When it came to packing for Nantucket, I pretty much stuck with a neutral palette. Think: lots of white, cream, navy, and gray. Since we were driving and knew I could pack more than my usual carry-on, I could have easily gone overboard. Instead, I thoughtfully planned each outfit and decided I would only bring items in my closet that I truly love. After my major Marie Kondo moment last month, it made packing a breeze.

One of my favorite things to do during the holidays is support small and local businesses. I love the personalized touch small shops do to make their guests and shoppers feel extra special. Whether it be a hand written note or pretty wrapping, my favorite small shops go the extra mile. Don’t get me wrong, the ease of a one-stop shop like Nordstrom or Amazon is great, but there is something special about supporting those in your community.
