You know when you have those weeks that just don’t go as planned? I am feeling it this week and with lots of changes happening behind the scenes, I can’t help but be super excited for this weekend. I am headed to Connecticut to host Mackenzie’s baby shower this weekend! I am so excited to escape the heat in Dallas and enjoy some time with my girlfriends.Read more
A couple weeks ago I asked y’all what you wanted to see this holiday season and the most requested was a curated list of my personal favorite cyber week sales. This time of the year can be so overwhelming (especially with all of the amazing sales!), so going into Thanksgiving week having game plan, check list, and budget is essential for staying on track.
Oh boy, get ready the sales are soo good this year…
*I will be updating this list as the sales come in, but these early sales are too good not to share ;)
We are headed to Scottsdale today for the holiday weekend and my bestie’s wedding shower. I am so excited to see my family and friends (it feels like its been a minute). But before I unplug for the weekend, there are some crazy good sales going on. You can bet I will be shopping on the plane later tonight;)
When it came to packing for Nantucket, I pretty much stuck with a neutral palette. Think: lots of white, cream, navy, and gray. Since we were driving and knew I could pack more than my usual carry-on, I could have easily gone overboard. Instead, I thoughtfully planned each outfit and decided I would only bring items in my closet that I truly love. After my major Marie Kondo moment last month, it made packing a breeze.
Between date nights, major R&R and spending time getting our backyard ready for summer, this weekend at home was just what I needed.
So, today I’m getting real about living in the moment and how I am making the change to be the best version of myself.
I am currently recovering from our weekend in Charleston celebrating the bachelorette, Mackenzie. We had the best time and I swear you can see my abs just from all the laughing we did this past weekend. Life can be funny in so many ways.
Today marks the 175th Style Details post (a little crazy to think about), but today will look a little different. Today is the start of something new and fresh. For some time, I have wanted to switch up my favorite series, but never found the right time.Well, today is the day for the new and improved Style Details. No time like the present, right?

One of my favorite things to do during the holidays is support small and local businesses. I love the personalized touch small shops do to make their guests and shoppers feel extra special. Whether it be a hand written note or pretty wrapping, my favorite small shops go the extra mile. Don’t get me wrong, the ease of a one-stop shop like Nordstrom or Amazon is great, but there is something special about supporting those in your community.

Anyone else keep catching themselves getting distracted by online shopping lately? I am loving everything this season has to offer and my closet is thanking me. Cooler weather always tends to draw me back to a more minimalistic style. Whether it be a great pair of jeans and a chunky sweater or a black shift dress and booties; I tend to keep my closet very lean during the Fall and Winter months.
