SEPTEMBER PLAYLIST
I did a little Q&A a few weeks ago on Instagram to find out what you wanted to see on A Dash of Details. One of the most requested topics was to share my currently playlist , so without further ado, The ADOD September Playlist.

Happy Friday! Honestly, I am smiling from ear to ear as I write this because this was just an all around awesome week.
To me, September always feels like a fresh start. The holiday weekend is the end of one chapter and start of something new.
Summer is slipping through our fingertips and in a blink of an eye the leaves will start changing, the crisp morning air will return and we will forget those long, hot summer days. In effort to not let the next few weeks go to waste, we are checking off the rest of our summer bucket list. Think: early morning walks to coffee, afternoons at the pool, and sipping rosé on our patio to close out the night. What are your weekend plans?
Thanks everyone for all of the birthday wishes this past week! You sure know how to make a girl feel loved ;) We got back late last night from the most incredible weekend in Napa. It is honestly one of the most magical places and we already started planning our next trip back to wine country. Later this week, I am going to share our 72 hour itinerary!
Today is my 30th birthday :) and for the very first time I woke up and no longer felt like the young girl trying to figure out her life. Instead, I feel happy, settled and ready for my next adventure. My twenties were filled with all the things. I graduated college, married the love of my life, made lifelong friends, changed careers (a few times) and most importantly, I found my happy.
As the last ten years begin to fade into memories, I wanted to write a letter to my 20-year-old self and share a decade’s worth of experiences. So, here goes nothing.
We are having a lazy summer weekend around here and I couldn’t be happier. After a busy start to our summer, sometimes it is nice to have a quiet weekend at home. If you didn’t catch my Instagram last week, I mentioned I broke my toe on our last day in Nantucket and I have been currently spending the majority of my time in bed icing my injury––just keeping it real over here. What are you up to this weekend?
I spent the last five days taking an unintentional digital detox…the results: it was good for the soul.

First off, I wanted to say thank you for all the comments, DM’s, emails and texts I have received about my new job. I am so happy to report that I am loving it and really believe things really do happen for a reason.
