It’s officially summer and for us, that means it’s summer fête season.

This is the season of weddings and our schedule is jam packed with fun summer events. This Spring I used Rent the Runway for my best friend’s rehearsal dinner and a Spring outdoor wedding, so when I had the chance to use the service again I thought it would be fun to go a little out of my comfort zone. If you know me, I love a good shift or A-Line dress because I am all about, the looser the better. So, when I was searching RTR for a black tie optional dresses, I kept coming back to this one by Opening Ceremony. It was the perfect formality for the summer Chicago wedding and I knew I had to give it a try. The thick material and stretch fabric were so flattering and ended up being the perfect length on my 5’2″ figure. Also, I love that you can rent jewelry and accessories from Rent the Runway, too. These Lulu Frost Earrings were a total showstopper and completed the wedding look.
