If there is one gift guide that was made for me, it’s this one. Each year that passes my wanderlust urges melt away and staying in on the weekends wrapped up in a cashmere blanket is the name of the game.
1. The Great Sweatpants | 2. Latte Mug | 3. Camp Socks | 4. Sheet Mask Set | 5. Resurfacing Mask | 6. Nespresso Machine | 7. Silk Sleep Mask | 8. Robe | 9. Ice Roller | 10. Jenni Kayne Blanket | 11. Lano Hand Cream | 12. Slippers
Throughout the year I keep a running wish list of items that I dream of owning (some big, some small). Around the holidays I treat myself to one thing on my list that I had been lusting over all year long.
1. Heart Earrings | 2. Gucci Princeton Mules | 3. Glow Serum | 4. Cozy Sweater (under $100) | 5. Essential Oil Diffuser | 6. Blanket | 7. Silk PJs | 8. Dyson Hair Dryer | 9. Watch | 10. Sweater | 11. Golden Goose Sneakers | 12. Hunting Season Bag
I thought it would be fun to share my wish list to hopefully give you some ideas to add to list for Santa this year.
ALL ABOUT OILS: I have to admit ever since Liz started posting about how essential oils changed her and her families lives, I have been completely hooked! I really want to get my own set and start playing around with the different mixtures! This diffuser would look pretty good in our kitchen if you ask me :)
IF YOU’VE BEEN REALLY GOOD: So I haven’t been this good this year, but I think you deserve a Cartier ;)
xox- a dash of details
*If you are in need of a hostess gift, be sure to check out last week’s gift guide.
I can’t believe I am admitting this, but it has taken three years to finally finish our wedding album. I flip through our digital album and old blog posts all the time, but there is something so special and timeless about finally printing a book. I had the best time going down memory lane and reminiscing on such a happy, wonderful time in our lives!
Since cutting five inches off my hair, (I am acting so dramatic, it’s really not that short) I am trying to make sure it stays as healthy as possible. I was started to get a bunch of split ends which was the reason for cutting in the first place ––I know, not cute.
Thanks everyone for all of the birthday wishes this past week! You sure know how to make a girl feel loved ;) We got back late last night from the most incredible weekend in Napa. It is honestly one of the most magical places and we already started planning our next trip back to wine country. Later this week, I am going to share our 72 hour itinerary!
And just like that, my birthday’s over. Don’t worry, the celebration isn’t over just yet. Patrick planned the most amazing trip to Napa full of surprises! We leave on Friday morning and I am bursting with excitement. This is our first time to wine country so I’m super excited to escape to cooler weather and amazing wine. Thank you all again for all the birthday wishes. You sure know how to make a gal feel like a million bucks! :)
When life brings you lemons, make lemon water..that’s the saying right? All jokes aside, I have been drinking warm lemon water every morning when I wake up and I found it is one of the best ways to start my day. Not only is it beneficial for your health, but I love feeling of starting the day hydrated. I have been trying to drink about 80 ounces of water a day and my little morning routine has been a great jumpstart to reaching my daily goal.
**Side Note: I got so many questions about this little tote on my Instagram yesterday. I stole mine from Amy who found it at Whole Foods last year, but now they sell them at Anthropologie. So what I am saying is I guess my grocery bag was cooler than I thought ;)
Happy Monday, friends! How was your weekend? We had a great couple of days trying to stay out of the triple digit heat in Dallas. We spent lots of time watching Netflix. What are some of your favorite shows? We just finished The Sinner and we need a new series to start! On Saturday, my sweet friend Saragh planned a brunch to kick off my birthday month––I can’t believe I am going to be 30 in eight days! Our brunch turned into late afternoon margaritas and dinner at Dolce Riviera. Days like this make my heart so happy.
I’m not going to lie that I am going a little stir crazy as I let my toe heal. It’s funny how you don’t realize how active you are on a daily basis until you can’t do the simple things, like walk the dogs. Hopefully, I will be back to 100% soon.
Happy Friday! Anyone else feeling like the weeks are flying by? Maybe it’s the fact that I turn 30 in a few weeks or that we only have a a couple months left of summer, but I am filling up my weekends with all the plans. This weekend we are headed to brunch with some friends and then I hope to spend most of the time by the pool. For my birthday, I asked for tennis lessons––I was hoping to have my first one this weekend, but my toe still has a little more healing to do before I head out onto the court. Injuries aside, I picked up this adorable tennis dress for my first lesson. Next weekend I am heading to my best friends bachelorette party in Cabo. After that we have a packed schedule the rest of the summer until Labor Day.
