HOLIDAY DETAILS: TOP PICKS
The holidays are almost here (and that means baby boy is almost here, too!) I am 35 weeks today and with a few last minute house projects wrapping up, my nesting instincts have kicked in in a big way.

Well, we here we are again, a week before Christmas and I still am missing gifts for the most difficult people on my list (cough, cough: dad and husband).
If there is one gift guide that was made for me, it’s this one. Each year that passes my wanderlust urges melt away and staying in on the weekends wrapped up in a cashmere blanket is the name of the game.
1. The Great Sweatpants | 2. Latte Mug | 3. Camp Socks | 4. Sheet Mask Set | 5. Resurfacing Mask | 6. Nespresso Machine | 7. Silk Sleep Mask | 8. Robe | 9. Ice Roller | 10. Jenni Kayne Blanket | 11. Lano Hand Cream | 12. Slippers
One of my favorite holiday memories was waking up on Christmas morning to my stocking filled to the brim. Santa always knew how to make me feel extra special ;)

Need a gift idea for someone out of state or even around the corner? What about a curated box of spa essentials, fresh cookies, or a hot cocoa set? BloomThat recently sent me a little holiday gift to help me unwind and some fresh blooms. I will definitely be sending these boxes to my girlfriends this week.
We have all been there, and the story goes: “It’s 4 days before Christmas and you are still in need of all of the gifts.” This was the first year I decided to plan ahead and not scramble for last minute gifts at the end. I ordered all of my presents online this year and it made everything sooo easy. Like I said on Monday, I still love the holiday hustle, so I ventured to the mall “just because” this past weekend.
For all of you that are like me, you can still order gifts just in time for Christmas! Shopbop, East Dane and Amazon will deliver presents with 2-day free shipping (with Amazon Prime).
iPhone 7 Case / Slim Aarons Book / Amazon Tap / Metallic Leather Moccasins / Bella Blanky / Bunny Stuffed Animal / Canon Camera / Mini KitchenAid Mixer / Marvin Toothpaste Set (cute for a stocking stuffer) / Monocle Book / Chuck Taylor Sneakers
Just when I thought I was on top of ordering gifts this year, I realized today was the last day to get free standard shipping in time for Christmas (at least most companies, thank goodness for Amazon Prime)! How did this happen?
Since I have an idea of what I am getting everyone in my family this year, I am going to place the last of my orders today.
While splurge-worthy gifts are always fun to look at, most of us will be spending between $30-$100 on gifts for our family. So today I rounded up a few of my favorite gifts under $50 that will make someone giddy.
Heart Stripe Shirt / Bucket Bag / Swell Bottle / Hunter Boot Socks / Framebridge Frame / iPhone Case / Capture Your Style Book / Love Potion Mug / 3 Pack Socks / Woven Basket
Are you ready? Santa’s workshop (aka, me) has been working day and night to find the best gifts for everyone on your list. Today is the first of 20 gift guides coming your way and tons of holiday content. I know sometimes the holidays and gift giving can be so overwhelming and stressful (ie. your bank account), so I curated guides for every occasion (think: white elephant, DIY gifts and experiential gifts). You do not have to spend a ton of money to make someone feel special, but just in case you want to, we have that covered, too. ;)
There are 3 things to be excited about today: 1. Turkey day is just one day away, 2. The work week is officially over, and 3. the 5th annual A Dash of Details Gift Guide is here!
Our little workshop has been working around the clock to create this year’s 35 pages of great curated gift guides. I hope there is something for everyone on your list! Now grab a cup of coffee, turn on some good tunes and start checking those presents off your list!

Yipppeee. So glad that it is Friday and the start to the weekend. I have been fighting off a cold all week which turned into me missing a ton of events and fun things going on in Dallas. I spent a lot of time sleeping, working from bed, and snuggling with my puppies and now I am finally feeling better just in time for the weekend.
Do you have any holiday parties to attend this weekend? I am still waiting to wear my favorite festive skirt (thanks to my darn cold). I have a cookie exchange on Sunday and plan to wear something warm and cozy. Any recommendations on what kind of cookies to make? One of my favorite holiday traditions from when I lived at home was when my mom and I used to make cookie baskets for all of her clients. We would spend all weekend baking and delivering the baskets to her favorite people. It was such a treat, especially because we always made a few extras for us!
Hope you have a wonderful holiday weekend! If you are still in need of holiday gift ideas, be sure to take a peek at my Gift Guide– just click the images to shop!
